What is your full name?
Theodore Maxwell Nott. Everyone with the exception of my father calls me Theo.

Where and when were you born?
25 June 1980 at home in rural Norfolk.

Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father is Erasmus Nott. He works in finance; it's been said he can rub two knuts together and produce a sickle, but I suspect this is figurative rather than literal. Being much older than the average parent of a person my age, he is often mistaken for my grandfather by those who don't know any better and neither of us seems to care terribly much. He's a stern man, but fair, I think, with a work ethic that would rival that of any Hufflepuff's. He's currently sitting in Azkaban for his part in an attack by Death Eaters on the Ministry. I suspect it will only be a matter of time before he is out.

My mother was Louisa Vaisey Nott. She was a great deal younger than my father, but I have no reason to believe they were not fond of one another. She had black hair, like mine, smelled like flowers, and always seemed to be laughing. She was known for being gracious and kind. She died when I was seven after a long illness. I wish I'd known her better, I feel as though I only know enough to miss her. If I've ever loved anyone, I loved my mother.

Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I am an only child.

Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
The Slytherin dormitory is occupied by myself, Blaise, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle (I'm not positive they have first names, to be quite honest; not that I would use them if they did). Blaise is probably my best friend; we communicate frequently without words, and I appreciate that he is not someone who has a pressing need to pry or feel as though I need to know every prattling thought that may fly through his head. Draco is my friend as well, I suppose, although his ego tends to get in the way of using what talents he does have most of the time, and he would rather surround himself with morons like Crabbe and Goyle for lackeys than those who are more on his level. Still, we have known each other since young childhood and that isn't something I would ignore lightly. But I don't envy him a bit.

Home is the family manor in Norfolk. My father would normally be there along with the House Elf but for now it stands empty, save for the Elf.

What is your occupation?
I'm a student at Hogwarts. I have almost no notion of what I would like to be beyond that, although I would like to put my considerable Arithmantic talents to use. Or I should like to write.

Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
I am 6'2" tall, a skinny build, pale, black curly hair, blue eyes, and nothing particularly distinctive. In that order.

To which social class do you belong?
Upper. Notts are among the Sacred Twenty-Eight. It is rumored that my great-uncle Cantankerus Nott authored the Pure-Blood Directory, but if he did so I never heard him admit it.

Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
As a child I had breathing difficulties. I've mostly outgrown it but it does appear once and again in times of awful stress.

Are you right- or left-handed?
Left-handed.

How would you describe your childhood in general?
Things changed significantly after my mother died. Things in the house became... heavier.

What is your earliest memory?
Sitting on my mother's lap in the garden.

How do you get along with your peers? Family? People in general?
Fine, I suppose. My peers are mostly harmless and don't' tend to bother with me, and so I don't bother them. My family is an eclectic bunch but all the same, they are my family. My father and I are cordial, if distant. He's very old fashioned about some things but as I say, he is my father all the same. I try not to think of people in a general sense, as the larger the group the more varied your sample. It's useless trying to use one approach.

What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
I like to read -- and I like to write. Writing is almost better entertainment than reading. I love a good Quidditch match, but only watching. Not playing.

Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Is it possible to be neither? Introvert, I suppose.

Which talent would you most like to have?
Being able to know what people are thinking would be useful.

Who has had the most influence on you?
Before she died, my mother. Maybe in a way, she still does. Thereafter my nanny took care of me, and she was... a change. But she encouraged scholarly pursuits, and was forever finding new things for me to read that I may not have looked at twice.

What is your greatest fear?
That the Dark Lord will turn his eye on me as he has turned it on Draco.

What would you consider your best quality? Your worst?
I would say my best would be an ability to censor myself. Worst is almost certainly isolating myself, subconsciously or otherwise.

Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good:
1. Writing.
2. Arithmancy.
3. Research.

Bad:
1. Being social.
2. Acting interested when I'm not.
3. Oh I don't know, use your imagination here.
